Ganni just opened its first ever outlet in the U.S. at Woodbury Common, about an hour away from New York City, and it’s definitely worth checking out. Following Woodbury Common’s expansion to becoming the top outlet for rare finds (not only is this the only place you’ll find a Ganni outlet in the U.S., it’s also the only place in the U.S., where you’ll find an Acne Studios, Loewe and Agent Provocateur outlet), it makes total sense that Ganni decided to open there.
Fans of Ganni will be happy to know the new Woodbury Common outlet follows a similar design aesthetic to the rest of the retail stores. Think: bright colors, upcycled, colorful plastic furniture, and a great selection of chic Copenhagen pieces.
We went to the Ganni Woodbury Common outlet the first weekend they opened, in early November 2020, and the prices were on average about 30% off retail prices. A few, select pieces that leaned more towards off-season summer pieces were closer to 40-50% off the normal retail price.
The store itself is quite small, but well-stocked. There’s a really great selection of coats, sweaters, boots, tops and dresses–and there’s also small accessories such as scrunchies and socks.
A lot of the pieces were relatively new, from the past season or two, which is great if you follow the brand closely. For example, I saw two dresses which I bought for full-price when the NYC store opened, in late 2019.
Ganni stores and e-commerce website also doesn’t always have sales, so if you’re looking for something specific from the brand, the Woodbury Commons outlet is a good option… but when Ganni does have a sale, you can often find stuff at 70% off, and even better — many of Ganni’s retailers such as Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, MatchesFashion and more typically have similar discounts.
Given the Ganni outlet just opened, it’s likely they’ll do deeper discounts, especially after the holiday season. Would you check it out?
