***Update: sadly this outlet has been closed! We hope a Perrin Paris outlet opens again in the future.
If you want to find Perrin Paris’ luxurious jewelry-inspired handbags for less than $150, look no further than the Woodbury Common outlet. We’ve written about the Acne and Loewe boutiques at the update wonderland, and Perrin is also one of the outlet’s newest high-end additions. In staying true to the brands artsy aesthetic, walking into the store, you’ll totally feel like you’ve set foot in an art gallery because of the concrete floors and the artful way each bag is displayed on the shelf.
On average, the bags are discounted by a little less than 30% off, with some marked as an additional 20% off. That means you can take home one of the signature ball bags (le petit panier) or the fun corset clutch (alas without the handle, keep in mind these are past season styles and with that, comes some minor flaws) for less than $1,000. The real finds however, are the leather bracelet bags priced at $140. These bags are a total gateway purchase for those who aren’t familiar with the brand and not ready to plop over a grand. They epitomize the brand’s exploration between bag and jewelry–because you can quite literally wear the bag as a bracelet. Even better, if you’re interested in stingray, ostrich, alligator or python, it’ll cost you just $250 for a bracelet bag.
If you’re not familiar with the label, it’s a Paris based leather goods company that’s been family operated since 1893. They have a boutique in New York City, but their bags are sort of niche and hard to find–so I was a bit shocked when I saw they had opened an outlet upstate. Below, some photos of the newly opened outlet.
